Description

Perkins Roofing Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to work directly with the Operations Manager, and current Project Managers as a team. The role of the Project Manager is to visit job sites daily and make sure crew leaders are representing Perkins Roofing with quality work and customer service. You will communicate with clients and make sure clients are pleased with our work. The Project Manager is the Operations face of Perkins Roofing to make sure our work represents the Perkins Roofing President’s standards. The Project Managers are the right-hand of the Operations Manager. The Project Manager will make material pickups for crews as necessary and is responsible for meeting with inspectors during inspection and making sure inspections have ladders and permits ready. Your day will be mostly spent on the road and inspecting job sites for quality control. You will write daily or weekly reports of job production, quality of work performed, and materials being used. Project Managers will also work as the liaison on-site between the clients and the workforce. We are an exciting growing business- your ideas are welcome here! Our office is currently located in North Miami, but we will be creating a second office location in Broward soon.

Requirements

Must be reachable by phone at odd hours sometimes for emergencies (nights and weekends). - Exceptional organizational skills, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills, exceptional skills in English both written and spoken, ability to work flexible hours including taking calls during nights/weekends for emergencies. Working knowledge and/or desire to learn all local and state roofing compliance codes. - Excellent communication and writing skills- clearly communicate with office staff and property managers about job statuses. - Must be responsible, accountable and a self-starter. - Must be able to haul trailer(s) with company pickup truck. - College degree preferred. - 3-5 years of management experience preferred. - Driver’s license and clean background required.
