Tamara Chase,
Chase Roofing

President Tamara Chase is the CEO and biggest cheerleader of Chase Roofing, as well as the CEO of Shine-Fort Lauderdale, a window-cleaning and holiday lighting company. She is a Certified Roofing Contractor and Glass and Glazing Contractor. When she's not working, you'll find her sharing her leadership skills to inspire and support women to discover the best versions of themselves in her nonprofit organization, Emerge Movement, Inc.

Jose Rodriguez,
The Soto Law Group

Treasurer/Secretary Jose Rodriguez Esq. from The Soto Law Group, P.A. is a Board Certified Construction attorney and a partner at the firm. Mr. Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, where he went on to receive a Master's Degree in History. Mr. Rodriguez then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, where he served as a teaching assistant and president of the Honor Council.

Ray Padron,
Latite Roofing

First Vice President Ray has been the Corporate Safety Director for Latite Roofing & Sheet Metal since 2006. Ray attended Palm Beach State College where he studied business administration. He also received his state roofing license which marks a high point in his career. Ray transitioned to safety in 1999 to make a difference and educate new workers about the hazards of roofing. In 2019 Ray was awarded Safety Professional of the Year by the Ft. Lauderdale Safety Alliance and his peers. He is an FAA licensed drone pilot. His hobbies include kayak fishing, flying drones(to find bait), orchid hunting in the Everglades and SCUBA diving.

Claudia Abbona,
GAF Corporation

Board Member Claudia Abbona is a bilingual entrepreneurial business sales executive who started her career in the Roofing Industry 22 years ago. She has worked for GAF Corporation for the past 15 years. She started with GAF as a Residential Territory Manager. Currently, Claudia is a Commercial Territory Manager for GAF in South Florida. Ms. Abbona serves on the RCASF Board of Directors as a member of the Membership Committee. She enjoys time with her family and strives for life-work balance. She loves nature and traveling. Her family and friends describe her as an adventurist, trustworthy and resilient. Claudia serves RCASF as Chairwoman of Membership and as the Social Chairwoman.

Barry Birenbaum,
ABC Supply

Board Member Barry Birenbaum is an Outside Salesman for ABC Supply. (formerly Bradco Supply). Barry started his roofing career in 1995 as a residential salesman and gradually moved into commercial sales. Barry has been a member of the RCASF for about 25 years, attending many events. He has been on the BOD a little over a year and is on the Membership Committee. Barry sold the roof to the Hard Rock Stadium and he's an avid Miami Dolphins fan. Barry & his wife Gail have 5 grandchildren and love to travel.

James Brauner,
Brauner Safety Services

Board Member President, Brauner Safety Services Inc. Jim is president and owner of Brauner Safety Services Inc. He started his safety consulting company after many years in training, sales, service and installation of commercial roofing equipment. He began working in the roofing equipment business in 1979 for his brother, Rick Brauner, at Brauner Equipment Co. He became vice president and managed the Chesapeake, Va., branch and Philadelphia locations. After record snowfall in 1996, he decided it was time to live in Florida. He developed Roofing Equipment of Florida with locations in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. He provided roofing equipment sales, service and training. Jim maintains membership in and continues to support the Central Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association; Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association; Midwest Roofing Contractors Association; NRCA; and Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida. He was CFRSA's president in 2007 and served on FRSA's board of directors. Jim received the distinguished FRSA Bob Campanella Award in 2014. He offers CERTA training; Occupational Safety and Health Administration site inspections; fall-protection, ladder safety, forklift and Lull certification training; and toolbox talks.

Lyle Jacob,
Chase Roofing

FRSA Affiliate Director Lyle’s career started in South Florida in 1990 working for his uncle’s roofing company, Countyline Contractors. His desire to learn has taken him from the residential side to the commercial side of the industry and he has spearheaded many projects from Chub Cay to Puerto Rico. Noteworthy projects include the reroofing of the Mt. Sinai hospital in Miami Beach. Lyle is a father who enjoys scuba diving and drawing.
